- Hair needs to be trimmed to 1/4 inch (the length of a grain of rice).
- Waxing around menstrual cycle can be more painful. We recommend NOT coming 2 days before/after the period.
- Limit caffeine intake the day of your appointment- it stimulate the nervous system and make waxing more painful. - Take a pain killer (Tylenol) 30 minutes before your appointment to minimize discomfort. Aspirin and Ibuprofen may not be the best choices as they both are known to thin blood. - Let us know if you have been on any skin medications that could affect your waxing service, such as Accutane, Alpha or Beta Hydroxy Acids (glycolic, salicylic etc..), Antibiotics, Benzoyl Peroxide, Differin, Retin-A/Retinol or any other skin thinning medication. - Don't come if you have any vaginal infections. - Shower and lightly exfoliate your entire bikini area right before your appointment using warm water. - Don't use any lotions or oils in bikini area. - Be sure to pick up your home care products to maintain a smooth ingrown free bikini line. Ask your esthetician about it! |
